About the Foundation
The GLP Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on building relationships between the Lafayette and West Lafayette Police Departments and community.
Our mission is to improve collaboration and overall public safety through police-community relationships by funding programs, events, and items that will allow the Lafayette and West Lafayette Police Departments to operate more efficiently, enhance public safety, and engage the community.
Recognition Events

Training

Goodwill & Positive Public Relations
The mission of the Greater Lafayette Police Foundation is to foster goodwill, enhance public trust, and strengthen the bond between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve. Through initiatives that promote positive public relations, the foundation supports programs and activities aimed at increasing understanding, mutual respect, and collaboration. By providing resources, recognizing excellence, and encouraging meaningful engagement, the foundation strives to create an environment where law enforcement and community members can work together toward safety, unity, and shared success.
Encourage Youth Interest in Law Enforcement Careers

As a non-profit charitable organization, the GLPF can accept contributions that are fully tax-deductible. Donors may request that contributions be used for needs identified by the Foundation or for specific purposes and programs.
